2018 State PRAM Conference


Join us at the 2018 State PRAM Conference in Starkville at The Mill at MSU, April 11-13. We have a great lineup of MVP speakers that include:

  • Rhett Hobart, assistant athletic director/marketing and branding, and Leah Beasley, senior associate athletic director/external affairs, both of Mississippi State University Athletics in Starkville, Mississippi
  • Rex Kelly, consultant in the area of public and corporate relations through his own firm and senior counselor with The Hawthorn Group in Alexandria, Virginia
  • Mitch Marovitz, APR, Fellow PRSA, chair and professor for the Public Relations Program at the University of Maryland University College in Washington, D.C., and chair of the Universal Accreditation Board
  • Katherine Morales, APR, founder of InFlection Point Communications in Atlanta, Georgia, and co-chair of the Certificate in Principles of Public Relations Workgroup with the Universal Accreditation Board
  • Steve Soltis, recently retired director of executive communications at the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia
  • Garland Stansell, APR, chief communication officer for Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham
  • Interactive sessions with Harold Burson, APR, Fellow PRSA, founding chairman of New-York based Burson-Marsteller, the world’s largest public relations agency. Burson is described by PRWeek as “the century’s most influential PR figure.”
  • Bey-Ling Sha, APR, professor and director in San Diego State University’s School of Journalism and Media Studies who co-authored the 11th edition of “Cutlip and Center’s Effective Public Relations,” one of the world’s leading textbooks in the public relations field

Special MSU Campus Tours

On Thursday afternoon, April 12, you can sign up for one of three Maroon VIP campus tours. Each tour will be limited to the first 30 people who sign up.

  • Tour 1: MSU athletic facilities tour of Humphrey Coliseum and Templeton Athletic Academic Center Hall of Fame
  • Tour 2: Tour of MSU’s Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library and prestigious Frank and Virginia Williams Collection of Lincolniana
  • Tour 3: Walking Tour of MSU Campus
