Jojo Burnett

Jojo Burnett is a Mississippi State University junior communication major with a double concentration in public relations and broadcasting.  

She attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for the first two years of her college career, where she earned her associate degree. 

Outside of class, Jojo serves as a college coach for MSU’s ACCESS program, which helps students with intellectual disabilities successfully transition into higher education. The program equips students with career skills, technical expertise and independent living skills.

Jojo is the youngest of five children.  In her junior year of high school, she transitioned from her homeschool education and attended Temple Christian Academy, where she graduated Valedictorian of her class. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, reading and being active.
